About me

My name is April Hopper and I've been creating with paper for almost 30 years. I started out making greeting cards and then moved to altered books and mixed media art. Honestly, I have more paper supplies than any one person should own!!!

A few years ago I discovered surreal collage and fell in love with it! It is so much fun to find images that compliment each other and maybe even tell a story.  When the collage seems to transport you to another world, even better!

All of my collages are hand cut (analog). I enjoy the process of looking through old books and magazines to find just the right images. Maybe someday I'll experiment with some digital work, maybe....  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them.  Thanks for visiting!
